National Director, Specialised Assets
National, SydneyJames is the National Director of the Specialised Assets team and benefits from more than 20 years experience in the property sector, having commenced his valuation career in Canberra in 2005.
James became a certified practising valuer and is a current Fellow of the Australian Property Institute; and a member of the Valuers Chapter of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors in 2018. James is also the current Vice President of the Property Owners of NSW. He regularly lectures in valuation of specialised assets at both the University of South Australia and Bond University.
Prior to joining M3 Property in October 2019 as a Director, James held various senior roles within other large multi-national valuation firms and the NSW Government. James has a particular focus on the valuation of specialised assets, which includes service stations, childcare centres, hotels, boarding houses and other accommodation assets.
James’ experience includes assessments on a going concern basis, leasehold interests and freehold interests.
With experience spanning most states of Australia, James has undertaken valuations for variety of purposes including mortgage, taxation and litigation matters. His past clients include all major banks, listed property trusts, major corporate businesses, and government departments.

- Graduate Certificate of Dispute Resolution – UTS
- Fellow of the Australian Property Institute (FAPI)
- Certified Practising Valuer (CPV)
- Member of the Valuer Chapter of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)
